- For requests to purchase wines over our typical bottle limits for special celebrations, such as weddings, please contact the winery directly: info@shafervineyards.com or call 707-944-2877

- Purchases of 12 bottles (750 ml) or more qualify for $1 shipping. This offer applies to states where we can legally ship. Regrettably, this offer does not apply to orders of magnums or when using third party shippers.

- The most headache-free way to ship your wine is to a nearby FedEx store where your wine will be held free for up to five days. (You can use a UPS store but there is typically a fee for holding your shipment.)

2019 TD-9

TD-9® is a proprietary red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec that celebrates a bold move. In 1973, in the space of a few months, winery founder John Shafer went from riding morning commuter trains in Chicago to teaching himself to drive a TD-9 tractor in our Napa Valley vineyard. He’d never grown grapes or made wine in his life. That spirit of risk-taking and adventure still guides Shafer today and inspired the creation of this wine.

“The 2019 TD-9 is silky, aromatic and perfumed. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, spice and rose petal all show a move towards more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend.
